portraiture is a piece of my artwork I want to communicate in all its forms, in order to reveal universal feelings upon people's faces and expressions of the human being. the majority of my portraits, self and not, are in black and white, not in colours. bw hues have the particular suggestion to make a photograph more communicative, perhaps the fact that watchers can easily imagine its original colours. the girls shown on these photos are not professional models, they are friends of mine.
